Turkish Bartenders Association was founded for bartenders and barmaids that work for touristic hotel,restaurant and bars. TBD porposed to improve relationship between job members and to informed and trained them about bartenderhood.TBD was founded at December 29th, 1992 in Besiktas-Istanbul.

Bartenderhood job needs a great information and culture repertory . The person who does this job must also have scientific information about alcoholic and none alcoholic drinks.Unfortunately in our country, this job seems a temporal work and there was done any study about it.

Like for every matter, we believe to get a serious education programme for bartanderhood job and standarted our bartenders and bars according to international norms as Turkish Bartenders. We want to add Tourism Education to our course to informed our association`s members about historical and touristik places that they are working in. We aim to make them our tourism representative for our country.

If we think that especially the tourism incomes take a big deal on economy of our country and lots of tourist came to Turkey during last years, we can realize the importance of to give them the serve that they used to get from other touristic places.
